My force has been running ruff I purchased some new autolight plugs which have alot more electrode than champs hopefully this will help. But at the same time I want to checkout for any vaccum leaks including head. There is a air sound when running without the cover on. Is this just air going into carb?

Probably just hearing the motor intake. (normal)

You might consider doing a decarb treatment as I understand it's a needed maintenance issue on a lot of force(s).

Oh forgot to mention if you want to find a noise Try a couple of feet of old garden hose or similar. Hold one end to your ear as you probe around the running motor with the other end.

The only place you'll find any vacuum leaks is between the carbs and intake manifold and between the intake manifold and the crankcase. You can check for leaks there with an oil squirt can. Put a drop of oil where these surfaces mate. If there's a leak, it'll suck the oil right in.

c/6

Hooty
