Hey guys I am thinking about painting the LU off my '84 75hp. The sites that I have looked on don't sell this color. Any ideas where I could get it? I am looking for (preferably) 2 quarts or a few spray cans.
It is this color....

Any chance you can find that in a quart can?

The Bombardier Parts and Accessories guide that the dealers use lists that color. You may be able to have the light blue metallic made up at most any automotive paint shop. The color code is: 78be2. The eng spec is 1642. The PPG color is 16533.

Very useful. This is what I was looking for. Thank you.

Pete;

I just offered that if you need to get it in smaller amounts.

Light Blue 1978-88. Give him a call, he is very knowledgeable.

Colours shown in black are available in aerosol, half pints, pints, and quarts.

Beautiful engine and I am sure your boat is going to look great when you get it done. Been watching on the restoration thread.

Thanks bud. I was thinking of going with white on the hull, with an Evinrude Blue stripe down the side. Motor doesn't "need" paint, but if I get it I will certainly sand down and spray the L/U.
