where should the trailer rollers be on the boat?

Currently the boat sits pretty high on the trailer. The trailer rollers are pretty close to the keel. I was thinking of moving the rollers out more towards the outside of the boat which would lower the boat onto the tailer more but i'm worried about not having the rollers closer to the keel

The rollers should be lined up with the structural supports in the boat. There are stringers made of wood and/or composite built into your boat. These should be over the rollers so the weight of the boat is on the stringers and not just a thin layer of hull.

If the keel of the boat is not sitting on the keel rollers it should be.
Its better if the keel takes some of the boats weight.
I would adjust everything to get that effect. Its not really good for the hull to have all the weight on those wobble type rollers.

this is the way the boat currently sits on the trailer. I would like to move the rollers out more

it looks like it centers well. That outer strakes will be an issue if you move them out.The closer to the keel the stronger the hull.
I thought you had center rollers under the keel.

To me it looks like your trailer is a bit too small for your boat.
The transom hangs off of the end of the trailer a foot or so. I do agree with you that it looks like the boat sits high on the rollers. This is possibly due to the trailer was made for a shorter and narrower boat.
Just my opinion.

Yep, your trailer is a tad too small for your boat. Not that bad, but small enough so that moving your rollers out may compromise the weight distribution of the trailer. You may have to just live with what you have.

More like too short. The rollers looks like they're in the right area

Looks like a standard EZ Loader set up. Mine was a lot like yours with I got it.
I lowered mine down to right near the trailer. Just made sure the motor still clears the ramp when fully down be about 4 inches.

Do you have several mounting holes for the bar that hold the rollers. Take the bolts out an move them one or two holes higher. Just do not go so high the boat hits the trailer or the motor when down hits the ramp. Lowering the boat this way makes it much better.

Since the boat is lower you will not have to back in so deep. It is less apt to turn over. With it lower the tow vehical will also block more air so you will have less drag. Kinda of like drafting.

To me it looks like your axels are too far back. How much toung weight do you have with the trailer is level?

Trailer could be longer. Hard to tell from pictures but your transom should very close to the rear rollers on the trailer.

The stringers in the boat should be above the rollers.
