Where is water outlet on Suzuki DT2

I have just got this Suzuki DT2 which has been standing for some time. I managed to get the motor going, but no water seems to be coming out from anywhere. This is a water cooled motor and it must have a water outlet. Can anyone let me know please before I strip it for the water pump.

I have a dt2 of 1986 date. The pump pushes water up around the head and then exits into the same chamber that the exhaust goes. Most of the water and exhaust exits above prop but there are two small holes about 6" below engine where a little water spits out. My engine is running very hot so I believe it is time to replace impeller.
