Does anyone hear from oldmercsrule? I've been thinking about him and thought I'd look him up, but he's nowhere to be found

Problem solved, (at least fer now), 'till somethin' else turns up.

I shorted the black/yellow wire to ground and it didn't kill the engine, ??????, (new cd pack) ??????, so I unwrapped all the wires back to the cd plug where the new cd black/yelow wire plugs in, and found that the black/yellow wire was bad after it came out of the other side of the plug, spliced in a new section n' now she stops when the key is off (or the kill switch is tripped).

I really dislike electrical issues.

Infrequent poster, so perhaps he's still enjoying the boating season.....
