I have a 14' foot boat and i need like 6 inch more cable for the electronic tilt and trim. I wish there were cable extensions.

You should post this in the Johnson/evinrude forum, and say it is for trim/tilt. As it reads, it is for a steering cable. PTT cables are usually just 3 wires. What part of the wiring harness do you need an extension for?

That turns the actual motor. I don't know how else to call it.

You need a wiring harness extension. Not a steering cable, throttle or shift cable. But purely a guess on my part.

Take a picture to clear this up.

The electric tilt will set motor 5.5 inches back so I'm worried because i don't have wiggle room ... maybe 2"
