Where can I find used bowrider seats?

Is there a used market for seats???? I would like to replace and sell my back to back seats in my bowrider and purchase used pedastol seats or captains chairs. I researched new seats and it doesnt seem to make sense to pay $500 per seat when i only paid 2K for the boat.

who ever said boating was cheap. it is not. seats are usually "used up" when they hit the resale market.

The local Sea Ray dealer here in Mesa often sells "less than perfect" new captains chairs for around 200 dollars, only downside is they have sea ray embroidered on them! Oh, no pedestal either.

Check around for a marine salvage yard, we have a small one about 30 mi. from me, they sell parts and sometimes stripped hulls. You might have to have it re-upholstered but would still come away cheaper than $500..

Craigslist has had a few.There are some on there now in Charlotte.
Usually its like TD stated..they are in rough shape sometimes.
I know the new seats have no wood in them and never rot.Plus they weigh a lot less than the older seats.
