I have a set of rims but am looking for the "smoothie" hub caps that have a hole in them for the bearing buddy...Heres a picture of what I am looking for.
These caps were very popular not too many years ago. 4x4 caps will have way too big a hole but would work. Baby Moons (no holes) are available from JC Whitney. Drill the hole using a hole saw.
agree with upinsmoke. looks like a custom job. i would drill several small holes around the outside edge, so they can throw the water out. or you will have a tie running out of balance.
Hub caps don't fit tight enough to create a water seal so I don't see that as a problem. If you use weedy ramps you will want to remove them periodically to get the weeds out.
mcagnew, I have the same caps on my vanson trailer (1970) I had to change rims they had pin holes and would not seal any more. I did try to find were to buy new caps but nobody had them or ever heard of them good luck I am still looking myself.
Like Upinsmoke said: Baby moons and use a hole saw to drill a large enough hole for the BB to extend out of. Treat the raw edge of the metal with a clear varnish or clear spray paint or they will rust. The caps don't fit tight enough on the wheel to retain water however they have a rolled edge that could hold water when parked. I would go with the advise to drill several holes in the outer edge so the water can sling out when you are on the road home.
Out here in California there are a lot of the older Vanson trailers around that have those hub-caps. Other older trailers as well.

I just assumed that they would still be available in a trailer supply store...but come to think of it..I haven't seen any for sale new.

Good luck, Chuck
