Where can I find a fuel pump ? Mercury 850 thunderbolt

I’m trying to get this motor running correctly and someone replaced the fuel pump with an electric fuel pump .

i want to put the original fuel pump on but I’m having a hard time finding one .

Is the original fuel pump gone or is the e-pump plumbing bypassing the original?

Need a serial number of the motor.

Yes the original fuel pump is gone . So yes the electric pump is using the original pumps plumbing .

also I got it running way better now. The Rectifier was bad apparently so the ignition wasn’t getting correct voltage causing it to not always get spark on ever cylinder .

i disconnected the stator wires from the rectifier and it started right up and ran awesome . Hopefully that was the main issue

Still need the serial number if you are intending to get rid of the electric fuel pump.

Those pumps are pretty much gone.
Not made or supplied by Merc, and the used part sources appear dry also.
Best bet is maybe ebay, or someone that parts out old motors, but not gonna be easy.

If you are gonna stick with an antique motor, better start finding, buying, and storing parts motors to scavenge parts from.
