Headed home to the motherland.... Jersey.

Xmas eve spent with my mother's side (italian), so we eat from 4-11pm and wonder where the italian catholic tradition of not eating meat on that day comes from. xmas is spent with my dad's side. luckily, both functions are at their house this year.

PW2 - what a great idea. Think I'll do the same. Since the ABC store is 11 miles from home I believe that counts for going somewhere. ;)

After spending time with the family this weekend, it'll be hunting and fishing....at the least. Oh, so many choices and not a lot of time.

I think that we are having it here now that my brother has pulled his head out of his arse . . .

My family Friday night, pieces of both families Saturday night, Sunday morning is probably just BIL and kids and Mrs QC.

BIL works out great as he helps me set up stuff and scrounge/replace batteries. Never thought I would see the day that I am closer to my BIL than my brother :(

Mr. Bassy and I will be home this Christmas. Its a hard year. Mr. Bassy lost his Mom last year, December 26th. So, it'll be a quiet day at home, just being home.
My parents understand that every other year we don't want to travel, so this is the other year, since we were there last year. So, all is well I think. Who knows though? This year is for Mr. Bassy and whatever he needs.

I didn't notice that you had errors in your title until you mentioned it. Quite commonly, xMas is capitalized. ;) Just thought I would mention it as long as corrections are being made. Prozit Neues Jahr.
