EEboaters dilema got me wondering if anybody else was like me,<br />christmas eve we go to my parents its my dads birthday,christmas morning back to my parents house,then for dinner to her dads,then later to visit her grandparents then in the afternoon her mother and that side of her family is coming to our house.busy busy,busy,but it is christmas.Merry christmas my iboater friends!<br /><br />edited title for spelling.

My parents are divorced and still hold quite a bit of animosity towards one another. Dad is 170 miles west and Mom is 320 miles northeast of us.<br /><br />I am on call this year, so I dont have to worry about getting in a particular dog house for visiting the other one. You would think that after 30 or so years they would get over it. :eek: :rolleyes:

Working night shift Christmas eve. Day and night shifts both on Christmas day as it is my Sunday in the rotation.

We've always gathered at my folks house on Christmas Eve but since most of our kids are married with kids of their own we will gather at one of my sisters houses on the 23rd....I think. The we all do our own thing Christmas morning then around 10 a.m. everyone comes to my place and I whomp up a stomp down breakfast for everyone. <br /><br />A big egg and sausage casserole, grits, gravy, ham, bacon, biscuits, stand alone eggs for those that want them that way. Jen E. Dawgs gets what we dont eat for fer her breakfast too!

Hmmmm. Going to former wife's house Saturday. Son, one grandson and granddaughter will be there, too. #3 Daughter and 3 grandsons are coming here Sunday.<br /><br />Sometime in the next week or two former wife and I will drive 300 miles to Midland to visit D #3, then 200 miles to Salado to visit D #2 and her 4 men, then back to The Hideout for party with Son, D#1 and a few Grandbuddies.<br /><br />Annual poker party and fireside chats at The Hideout 12/31. Usually 6 to 10 descendants here.<br /><br />Yeah, I guess you could call that busy. :)

Normally I do 90% of the cooking. This year I'm taking a break.<br /><br />This year easy<br />24th<br />At some point we will have Jackie from across the street come over to help unwrap the kittens presants. She has been comming over every couple months to play with them since they were born. Often will take them back over to her place for a few hours.<br /><br /><br />25th<br /> 7 minute drive over to MILs in the morning where I'll bake fskprs sausage bread, mix up JBs recipe then back home. <br />When the rest of the family arrives and all the cooking is done I'll go back over in the afternoon.<br />Eat, drink, exchange gifts and then play board games until early evening..<br /><br />7 minute drive back home.. DONE! :D

Staying home. However years ago used to be a fight every year with the wife as to where to spend holidays.<br /><br />Nowdays were down to just my Dad and he's down the road about 1/4 mile or so.<br /><br /> we just sit at home and let the kids come over if they want to.

Usually it's one year in US with kids; last year, this year with BIL's in Calgary. BUT, tomorrow I'm supposed to leave, if ex BIL gets here, to drive the ALCAN Hwy. He's an wildlife photographer and has been working 4 yrs on a book and video of the Alaskan Hwy. He needs to check mileage and wants some winter scenes. If all works out I'll be back on the forum around the new year.<br /><br />Might add when he called and wanted me to go (it been planned several times, but things came up) I said it was bad timing. Wife said go (we see her bother's family all the time as they come to the ranch or we are up there) -- so I'm going.<br /><br />Wife did make sure my will is updated and signed -- wonder if she know something? Hope not!<br /><br />Merry Christmas and Happy new year to one and all!!!

well as I am currently in Caracas VE ill be here for christmas with my fiancess´s folks, on the 26th we head down to Rio Chico VE for a few days at the lagoon for some tarpon and snook then on the 3rd its off to the jungle on lake Guri for some Pavon and Payara fishing and if I get a chance some pirrahna on the ultralight.<br /> anything beats 35 degrees and 25mph north winds :) . but where ever ya go, merry christmas and happey new years.

going to my lake house tomorrow evening and staying until Jan. 2.<br /><br />I don't get my kids until the day after Christmas and then my parents will come up on Jan 1, do Christmas with us/kids and then take my kids to their house for a few days until I have to have them back at their mothers.

Hoping to do some ice fishing Christmas eve morning after work. Christmas day go to my sisters about 10 miles south of me with my daughter for family get together, eat,eat,eat,sleep,sleep,sleep,eat some more. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone and be safe while traveling.

:) going over one sisters house for Christmas Eve with25 other family members !!!! :) <br /><br />And then on Christmas Day we do it all over again at my other sisters house!!!! <br /><br />And I gain about 6lbs. over Christmas!!! ;) :cool:

Did my family last week end up in Cleveland, 650 miles almost due north. Herself’s family is coming in to town for a few daze, from Cleveland. Plus various friends in the area will filter through over the Christmas week end, so we will be busy but home.<br /><br />Merry Christmas to All!!!!
