Where are my fuses?????HELP!!!!!

Does anyone know where to find the fuses under the cowling on a 200hp saltwater carbed Merc??? Year 2000. I get no power from the ignition to the motor. No power on the tilt and trim but everything else has power! Got a guy looking at it now...but cant find one fuse!

Should be in engine harness Stb side, close to top rear of engine, 20 amp.

I cant believe that he wouldnt have looked there as he was looking for 30 minutes. He said he checked everywhere he knew to check. He messed around with the harness and all around it for a while, he also checked under the gagues in the cc. Is it possible that there are no fuses? I had a marine electrician that said he couldnt find them, but didnt know a lot about motors! Then had a regular marine service tech look it over with no results either. My manuel says they are there but no luck yet. I will look closer at the harness in the am.

I will try to look at motor tomorow. I rigged a 2001 for a friend. The fuse should be in red wire that goes from starter solenoid to connector that connects the engine harness to the remote control harness. The 2001 had a mini late model car fuse. The owners manual may give location. The fuse may be inside a black plastic cover.

On the 2001 200 carb offshore the fuses are on the Stb(right side sitting in Capts seat)<br />side of engine about 3 inches to the rear of starter and 2-3 inches below top of engine block. The fuses are in black plastic water tite case about 3x3x1 inches with 6 red wires connected to case.

I am picking up my boat tomorrow and will look myself for the darn fuses. I will look where you told me. If you think about it, check this board on Sat. around 3-4pm if i cant find them maybe you can help me then.
