Ok took my boat out again today for a 20 mile round trip cruise, took the whole family and future son in law, it was a blast. small issues but i'm still working out the kinks on how she likes to be started and such. while i was washing her down I noticed this small little fitting that looks like a zerk fitting but it not and it's plastic. it on the lower unit (I think thats what its called) on the back. hopefully the will up load. Does anyone know what this is for? waiting for my manual to come in, hopefully by then i'll be able to look these things up for myself. thanks.

If I were to hazard a geuss I would say that if for a speedo, the hose would run from that fitting to the back of the speedometer.
