Which one??? The plastic tree is your fuel supply to carbs and enrichener/primer and the single hose between the carbs is is a balance line to try and make engine idle better.....notice I said try.

Its the hose at the very bottom.Sorry i was't able to mark it. It runs from the air intake to the motor. I take it the hose is to make the engine idle better.

When you tilt the engine fully up the carbs will "purge" themselves into front air box.To prevent fuel spillage into cowling and running outside the motor, this hose attaches to airbox and lower manifold and when starting the overflow in airbox is recycled into engine and burnt.
