What's this called and where can I get them? - picture

I'm looking for the pin that goes through the drive shaft & drives the gear, this is from a trailer jack. I thought it was called a drive pin, but where do you get them? Hardware store?

that is called a roll pin. go to a hardware store or even your local napa. they sell them diameter x length

It is called a split roll pin. Any good hardware store should have them.

Looks like someone put a roll pin where a drive pin belongs. Drive pins are solid and are available at real hardware stores.

Both gears in the crank mechanism have them, so I would guess it is just a lower quality jack. When I was looking at them, I thought a solid pin wouild be better.

Most of the landing gear I work on are for a little larger capacity trailers :D

I think I would upgrade to a drive pin
