My transom is rotten in my 97 LArson 206 sei
outdrive volvo sx cobra
engine 5.7 GS

I removed the engine and outdrive this weekend
now what do i need to do to remove the transom plate the gimbel housing and the pivot?
what measurments should i take before removing?

With the drive off and the engine out, you remove the exhaust Y, disconnect the steering, disconnect the trim pump hoses (mark where the hoses go to on the pump) and remove the inner transom plate.
Then the transom shiled should come off with the pivot housing and trim cylinders attached.
