Hi. I just got my new 2002 90hp 2stroke mercury and was wondering what the 1/4 hose is for on the lower unit. There is a 90* fitting and about a 6" hose just above the level plug for the gear case oil and to the front. The other end of the hose has a plastic plug in it and is just wire tied off.<br /> Thanks!!!
