1. Having a boat tilted up so water can drain out, and having the lower end not being in the full down position?

2. Having a boat semi-level or below level so the lower end can be in the full down position? Water wouldn't drain as well this way.

So, those are my options I'm presenting. I've always heard it's best to keep the drive as low as possible to protect the bellows, but if I want to keep the drive low I can't have the boat tilted up. When my dad owned the bayliner that I now have he used to dig a hole in the grass and tilted the boat up as far as he could. The drive would then go into the ground. I don't have this option as I park the boat in my driveway. The other option I've heard is taking the drive completly off, but I'm not going to do that.

any option on putting the trailer and boat on blocks to give you the added height?

if not, i'd say you need the bow high enough to get the water out. then lower your drive as much as you can.

I think drainage would be #1 priority. Is there no other way to protect the bellows? If not, sounds like an opportunity for some ambitious iboater to make his fortune!

Ask yourself this question, Is it cheaper to replace a bellows, or replacing rotten stringers and transom? For your brand of boat or any boat, you must keep water out of your hull. Bellows are a pain to change, but they are a lot cheaper to replace than having hull work done.

If you need to get the clearance, get yourself a pair of those steel ramps for working on cars. Back your trailer up on those to get the extra height that you need.

If you are storing for a long time, why not remove the outdrive?

get some drive-on ramps and pull your boat trailer tires up on them before you unhitch it. You will need some light weight, stable stand to place under the tongue jack.
