What's its age

I have a 3HP Force it is the same as the MERC/ Johnson & Evinrude in that year Just they were all from the same manufacturer but badged to each company Like the Suzuki 4WD is to Geo Tracker. I can't find out how old it is. Someone has advised me it is about a 99 model<br />The serial number is 00001439 frost plug number 00139. <br /><br />I hope someone can help<br /><br />Frustrated<br /><br />Snapperman NZ.

G'day. Force built their own 3 Hp which was a chrysler, I think this may be your motor. They also had some motors built by merc (Merc owned Force from abour 1994) I think the merc 3HP had a longer serial No. Evinrude/ Johnson have had noting to do with force at all, Hope this helps
