whats it worth?!

i have a 1989 johnson vro 40hp, i took it off my alum boat and upgraded, the motor cranks up just as soon as you turn the key. it runs great.... power trim and tilt works fine too.. now none of the cylinders Is lower than the other but has never affected it or me runs and idles just fine. the vro has been removed it was that way when i bought the boat. it carried my 16"10 v hull alum boat at 28mph i ran it for 3 years never a problem. took it out 9 times this summer with no problems. going to sell it in the next few days, whats it worth?! thanks.

I'd think around $800 if no one does a compression test on it........

haha yeah but i wont do someone that way, although right now its not affecting the running of the motor.. i guess sill try 600 or so to start with, its a easy motor to rebuild hopefully someone will take that into consideration

That's as close as I would guess.
But I am 99.9% certain that you will get somewhere in the range I have given.
