Question doesn't make any sense. Without knowing what engine, what kind of cooling system and other things about the boat, a number means nothing.

A better question would be for you to post what your engine is and the type cooling system and the temp it's running at.
Then, we can answer a quesion that means something.

I have a 143? Thermostat in mine and it runs at 140? while on plane and goes up to arounnd 150ish while idleing around. Like Don said it depends on your setup and what your engine tStat is suppose to have in it. As Don would say we are not mind readers post your engine and year.
