What's a 1996 Yamaha 85 worth?

Hey Guys,
I'm looking at a 1996 Yamaha 85 that's in excellent condition. It has low hours and almost all of it is in fresh water. He wants 2500.

I didn't check the KBB on it but it seems a little high, I'd be thinking $1500.

It's a two stroke. I don't think they make a 85 four stroke. It's super clean with low hours and almost all fresh water use.
