Hi. I have a mariner 115 from around '88.
But the mechanic says i need to be sure to get the right part for powertrim.
I have the serial number, but that doesn't tell him anything - he says!
Is he not all there or should he just not be repairing mariner?
The serialno:OB328739
If the first letter is a O or zero, i don't know.
If anyone could tell me what year this number represents, i would be most thankfull.
-Mikkel, Denmark.

Mik, Go to www.dougrussell.com and browse the parts lists. Look up your motor by serial number group. It will give you part numbers for all the parts available. You can then either buy the part from them, or get the OEM number for your dealer to sell you.

There is some power trim parts available aftermarket, ususlly cylinders, hoses and pumps. Smaller stuff is OEM only.
