what year?

I just bought a merc110. It says it is a 9.8 twin. The ser# is 1614730. Also any idea what plugs should be in it and the correct gap? Is the fuel a 50:1 ratio? Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the information. I am supprized that the motor is that old it looks in real good shape for the year. Now I hope that it runs as good as it looks. Thanks again.

Yep, she's 50 to 1. www.oldmercs.com is Bob Grubbs site. He will have water pump impellers for her and anything else.. If she hasn't had a water pump in the last year or two I wouldn't even start it till you put one in.
