This came directly from NADA.com...<br /><br />This is your model # just forget number of cylinders... they make mistakes you know... have 30 HP & 25 HP listed as 3 cylinders also... If you truly want to confirm, call your local Yamaha dealer.<br /><br />Plus I crossed referenced to another Master catalog & checked Head gasket for C40 & it is a 2 cyl... So I guess our famous NADA "MESSED UP" or I could think of some other words to describe!!!!!!!!<br /><br />

OK<br /><br />Plus it seems in another search for something else I came up with this......<br /><br />C40 (2cyl) 1997-99 100:1 <br />C40 (3-cyl),C55, C75, C80, C85, C90, C115, C150, E48, E60, E75 1989-99 50:1 <br /><br />CAN YOU BELIEVE C40 is both a 2 cyl & 3 cyl???????????<br /><br />
