I just bought an old mercury 400 outboard today and the guy I bought it from didnt know the year of it can anyone help me? the sn is 1429555 thank you.
Are you sure it's a 400? Oldmercs.com only has up to 1397480 listed as a merc 400 (that's for a 1961 model)-and everything any later's s/n is way off.<br /><br />A pic would help.
