have a chance to buy a 650 3-cylinder 65 h.p. merc. owner doesn't know the year.serial no. from the plate on front is 7014346. can anyone help? also, it runs well but it is loud. the foam or rubber insulation inside the front cover plate is gone.owner says a replacement is not avail. from a merc dealer. would an application of the spray foam insulation in an aerosol can work or is thewre another alternative? thanks much for any help. art
