What year is this campion explorer 492

I’m looking to buy this campion explorer 492. The owner states it’s a 2006, but to me, it appears to be an older model. Can anybody identify the year of this boat thanks

Code stamped on the top right or left of the transom usually? Last 2 digits are the year of manufacture.

Maybe not in Canada, which the plate clearly shows it was built . What does the paperwork say ? What year is the motor ?

The motor is a 2006, I don’t have access to any of the paper work. This boat is a 7 hour drive from me and I was just hoping someone might have some knowledge or experience with these campion boars. Thanks

Canadian boats have HINs as well. Get the HIN and that will tell you

Normally I would say reach out to the customer service folks...... however Campion brand no longer exists again. As they shuttered their doors again about 2 years ago. This would have been the 3rd or 4th time the brand went bust and changed ownership

Boat , trailer and motor are usually sold as a package so the odds are they are all the same year , meaning the boat is more than likely a 06 , as the seller stated .
