What year is my yamaha? 115 2-stroke

I think it's the same year as my boat (95), but how can I tell for sure?<br /><br />I only see the serial #'s.<br /><br />Also, I was told that the power head also has matching #'s. Is that true, and is so, then where?<br />Thanks

What's really needed is the model number. The last letter is the year. If the last letter is T, then the engine is a 95.
