Hi ! Just picked up a 9.9 Evinrude Mod # E10RCES, Ser # R08275903. Motor was running well and then just quit. Pulled out the spark plugs and found a milkshake like mixture of oil and water on them. Head gasket blown ? Is it worth repairing or not ? If so, I need the year to get parts. Thanks for all of the help.

1989 is what I come up with. Water in the cylinder is probably a head gasket. An easy fix, but make sure the head is not warped before you put a new one on.

it could be all of those but chances are it's the head gasket! :) take it off and clean out the milky goo inside and lube it up with oil asap... and get it running asap to get the water out... If you run it in salt water do this really pronto as the salt inside will kill it fast!
