That number isn't going to help. That's probably a part number. You need the serial number. You should find it on a metal tag right where the motor tilts on the clamp brackets. Look right under where the steering system attaches to the arm. I also cant get a year lock on my mariner 80 hp inline 4, been told it is a 1985 but i cant find a 80 hp made in that year..serial #A8053922, any help please?.<br /><br />Thank you.
