What year is my mercury?

Hi I'm not being lazy asking this, I tried myself for the longest time but failed to find my motor info after searching for what seemed hours.
My serial number is 7019967
any help would be greatly appreciated!

In both of your posts, you fail to say what hp the engine is. Do you know and how many cylinders?

Oh sorry it's a 65 hp 3 cylinder 2 stroke.

That s/n, a Canadian built engine (beginning with 7) comes up as:

65 1973 E 3547987 - 3807832 7013633 7013633 is the beginning s/n for the year.
