What year is my Mercury 110

Can anyone help me find out what year my Mercury 110 9.8 H.P. motor is? The ser # is 7104923. Thanks.

I have a similiar question see "age of 9.9 merc" answers suggested 1972 I disagree. Mine is Canadian 7180702 I think it is a 9.8 1985 yours sounds similiar---I'm still digging for info.
