I am attempting to id the year my motor was manufactured..the unit is a 15hp bf15a, ser. # baas-1101761...can anyone assist me?..thanks

zzzzzzzzzz ...you just assisted me in my year question..1989 bf15a..thnaks much..hate to sound stupid...what is the best way to tell if my motor is long or short..where would i take the measurement from..again..thanks for the quick reply on my initial question...JOHN
