What year is my Force 120?

Hi...I'm new to boating and got a bayliner with two force 120 outboards that run and seem to be in good shape. I bought the manuals and am now trying to find out what year and model my engines are. I looked on the side of the bracket that mounts on the boat and both stickers are missing. Is there anyplace else where the serial numbers and model numbers are posted? Thanks in advance. Tony

the serial number should be stamped in an unpainted freeze-out plug on top of the block...look for a date on some of the electrical parts - they're sometimes a good indicator
