What year is my Evinrude Lark motor?

Bought a classic 1965 sea king was told it has 40hp motor. Serial plate says #35514-07189 35 hp at 4500 rpms. Cant find anything online for this serial number. What year is it?

Boat is a 1965 not 1958. Is motor still 1958?

yeah the first five digits of that "serial number" are actually the model number try that in your parts finder you should get good results the last numbers are the actual serial number

Yes mine looks like that but painted, so It looks different to me. Im doing 50 to 1 on oil mix. Is that right for this motor?
