What year is my Engine?

My boat is a Rinker Captiva 232 1995.<br /><br />Engine and drive is 5.7L Bravo III.<br /><br />Engine Serial Number is # OF287508<br /><br />Is the engine always the same year as the boat?<br /><br />I wonder also what the listed HP is? I'm thinking its 240, but it might be 260.<br /><br />Where is a good place to buy the Merc Manual for this Engine and Drive?<br /><br />Is this a Thunderbolt IV or V ignition?<br /><br />I'm sure it's obvious, but I'm new to the boating scene. It's great, I even enjoy the maintenance and repairs.

Carbureted right? I think Don would have noted the EFI on the model descritption. I believe that engine was rated 230 at the propshaft. Would have been called a 260 when they rated them at the flywheel.
