What year is my 50hp Black Devil ?

I have a Merc 50hp s/n 8059200. I beleive it is abt 80-84 vintage. Can anyone be more specicic please ?

The only thing that I can tell you is that this engine was built in Australia by the serial number. The best I can tell it might be a 1986 model but you need to check with a dealer in Australia that will have a better book than mine..sorry
