What Year is JW-16?

Hi, team.
I am bringing back a cute little Johnson 3. It's a JW-16.
Now, I believe a JW-16 is a 1960, but, the parts lists I am looking at show a 1960 as a JW-13 and a 1961 as a JW-17.
So, what year is the JW-16?

p.s., and in the absence of a JW-16 parts list, are the JW-17 parts the same?

Hi J. OI believe it's a 1960 model. Here's the parts list for a '59 and a '61, which should be virtually identical.

1959 Johnson JW-15 3 hp Outboard Motor Parts
1961 Johnson JW-17 3 hp Outboard Motor Parts

Most definately a 1960.

Just looked at marine engine to post a link to your parts list and I can see where you had difficulty. Their site is wrong.
