Can anyone help in identifying the year of a Honda 8HP 4 stroke. The serial number & model is:<br />BACL 1208231<br /><br />The motor is silver/grey with a large "Four" written on the back.
The problem is that there is no website for Honda serial numbers and mfg years. <br /><br />I haven't seen any member who has access to a Honda serial number list either.<br /><br />A silver Honda 8HP can be anything between 1989 and 2002 I guess. Sorry.
You could probably call any honda dealer and I'm sure they would know. Best advice I can offer right now. As bear said, there is no Honda Year site. Good Luck,
