what year evinrude ?

i've been getting mix answers on what year the motor is evinrude twinsport the only # i can find are on tag and stamped on a round silver onthe engine. 10014 / 06370 is this serial and model or just serial?

The first number is the model number, the second is the serial number. 10014 comes up as a 1957 Evinrude 10 hp.<br /><br />-John
