What year Could my motor be

Hi,I Just bought an Evinrude 25"long shaft EVR 6 Cylinders 200 hp the guy tha sold it to me toll me that it is a 1989 year, but I just want to be sure to order the right parts,can someone help me to see if is a 1989. the model# E200TXCEA and the serial # G2303928 and it saids USA. thank for any help I could get here.

The model number is a code:<br />E - Evinrude<br />200 - 200hp<br />T - Tilt&Trim<br />X - eXtra long shaft (25")<br />CE - '89<br />A - Meaningless model run code<br /><br />The date code works like this:<br /><br />INTRODUCES<br />1234567890<br /><br />So ED would be '96 since E=9 and D=6.<br /><br />Hope this helps!
