What year 9.9??

Just picked up another 'Rude outboard.<br />9.9hp.The little plate with the serial number is long gone.I found a number on what appears to be the freeze plug.It's 10524C and E0002222 under it.Any idea what year this motor was built?<br />It runs like a charm.
