I was fishing from the bank of the Susquehanna river in Northeast PA Saturday morning and I hear a big splash. It was only about 2 feet out in shallow water (6"). So I walk over and a few minutes later it splashed again about 25 feet up the shore from where it last did. It kept splashing around almost like it was trying to jump out of the water and onto the shore. It kept doing this all morning every 10 minutes or so. It was definitely big, not a bass. We have muskies in the river but I wouldn't believe they would be up on the shore like that. I was trying to get a look at it but the splash was too quick and big to get a good look at the fish.
