What type of trailer to use?

We just got a 1975 (I think Imperial Tri-Hull) what kind of trailer should we get for this boat, we are new to boating. The current trailer appears to be bent, and therefore I believe that it should be replaced just to ensure it's safety. The boat is currently on what I believe is a bunk trailer, with rollers along the center of the hull, but the bunk boards don't seem to fully support the hull.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Re: What type of trailer to use?

q -
you need to get that boat off the rollers and onto the bunks. are the bunks adjustable? if so, put a block on your jack and jack the boat up at the transom. adjust the bunks up under the boat. do the same for the front. keels sitting on rollers will eventually crack. i had a 23' glastron carlson that had one helluva crack in it when i got it. as far as trailers go, look for something that is adjustable. unless you have a trailer built, chances are a non adjustable bunk trailer won't fit the bottom of your boat. i am not a big fan of roller bunks, either. lots of little spots that your boat is sitting on.
good luck with this
