What type of grease on Mercruiser do you use

Lets see if I did everything by the book I would need to keep the followng grease on hand
Prop Grease
Coupler Grease
Trailer Bearing Grease
Spline Grease

I may not be getting this right or may be missing something. But really I am only going to carry one grease gun with me with one type of grease. So far its been synthetic bearing grease which I have used on the coupler. Am I going to kill anyting by only using one type of grease for everything?

Yamaha marine blue grease for general use. High temp wheel bearing grease for the wheel bearings.

Going cheap on the grease can cause problems in some geographic's, one of my buddies used regular grease in his boat steering system and the entire cable and housing was frozen. It was funny watching him try to turn the steering wheel, but nothing worked until the temps got warmer.

I use plain ole chassis grease bought by the case, for use on our heavy equipment for everything, but what gets 2-4-C...

So I use only 2 grease guns, 1 for 2-4-C, 'n my regular gun, hangin' on my pickup...

I always use generic Marine Boat Trailer Wheel Bearing Grease for everything. Never had an issue. MerCruiser makes a special lube just for the steering rod. I think it is slightly better than marine grease, for saltwater applications. For freshwater apps, I wouldn't bother.
