I'm buying a 32 foot boat, which has a small cabin in the front, i'm having it customised for blue water game fishing, as standard it's set for two 200 hp outboards, but has the option for sterndrives. I'm going to be using the boat for some fishing charters, and was wondering which engines would be the best. I've heard sterndrives are more expensive, but will be cheaper to run and maintain, is this true?<br /><br />Also the manufacturer say if i decide to go for the outboards then he advises mariner 200 hp efi as the outboards, are these engines any good, or should I go for Yamaha's. Someone has told me Mariner are unrealible, is this true? Is it possible he's getting better commision from mariner?
