What type of boat cover should I buy?

Does any one have a recommendation on what type of boat cover I should buy? I have a 2001 Skeeter ZX 225 SC with a Yamaha Vmax 225 HP on a 12” jack plate. I want a cover that I can trailer and I also want it to cover my motor, it will also be used to store my boat outside in the winter. I have looked at the sharkskin iboat covers and they seem good ($340). I have also priced out custom covers from a local place in MN with similar material ($450). I am willing to spend no more than $450 and I want something that will last and fit tight maybe even fit with my pro poles on the boat but that is not a must. I know I’m being picky but I would be interested in hearing about your covers and the pros and cons with them. Any advice will help thanks to everyone.

If you are storing it outside in the weather than you need 2 covers, no other option! A good travel cover must breathe so the result is good ventilation but poor weather protection. That’s where you need the second one, which needs to be a heavy canvas type material mounted on a frame similar to a V-tent to ensure good air-flow around your boat. When it’s in storage fit both. You have a very nice boat, don’t scrimp a few bucks, do it right.
