My old canvas's are leaky and have no holes, they just suck up water. What do I need to spray them with to fix this problem?

Try scotchguard or a similar treatment. It will not last forever but it will certainly improve what you have.

You can get waterproofing spray in the shoe department at Walmart, Its made to use on tents, shoes and such. I put it on camera bags and anything else I want to make water resistant.

I've also used it on the seams of a pop-up tent trailer, works good and its cheap. If you need to treat the whole cover you will probably need quite a few cans but you could treat all the seams where its most likely leaking with a couple.

Its actually the entire cover that is absorbing the water. Like its too porus.
