Going to change the powerpak on my 1995 johnson 150 every one says i need the gray sleeved stator what am i looking for. is the stator gray or how can i tell its a gray sleeved stator.

The wires will have a grey protective sleeve over them. If I had to change a stator or powerpack on one of mine I'd use one from CDI.

Is this the gray sleeve you guys are talking about, it's a gray sleeve kind of mesh covering the wires? Hopefully?

CDI marine company or the Brand CDI for the parts power pack and rectifier

Yes, the mesh covering the wires. CDI Electronics is the name of the company. I'm sure you can get their stuff here on iboats.
